Our Next Steps pathway is simple, intentional, and centered on relationship helping you move from belonging to believing, and from believing to becoming.
Celebrate Your Decision
- Take time to rejoice in your new life in Christ.
- Write down your testimony your story of what Jesus has done in your life.
- Share your decision with someone you trust, a mentor, or a House City Church leader.
Step One
Start Growing in Your Faith
- Daily Bible Reading & Prayer: Begin reading the Bible and talking to God every day. Start with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) to understand Jesus’ life and teachings.
- Join a Discipleship Group: Connect with a group where you can learn, grow, and share life with others.
- Attend Next Steps Classes: Our “Start Here” classes are designed to teach you how to walk in faith, grow spiritually, and understand your purpose in God’s kingdom.
Step 2
Connect with the Church Family
- Meet Your City Disciples: Becoming a City Disciple helps you belong fully to the House City Church family.
- Serve in Ministry: Discover your spiritual gifts and find a way to serve others. Serving is part of walking with Jesus and building His kingdom.
- Participate in Church Events: Attend worship services, community events, and outreach opportunities to build relationships and grow in your faith.
Step 3
Be Baptized
- Baptism is an outward expression of your inward decision to follow Jesus.
- It symbolizes new life, forgiveness, and your commitment to Christ.
- Sign up for our baptism class and service to take this next important step.
Step 4
Become a Kingdom Partner
- Partnering with House City Church through prayer, service, and giving helps you live out your faith and impact your city.
- Every act of generosity is an opportunity to build God’s kingdom locally and globally.
Step 5
Discover Your Purpose
- Take the House City Church Spiritual Gifts Test to understand your God given gifts and areas where you are called to serve.
- Join a ministry or team that aligns with your spiritual gifts to make a real impact.
Step 6
Share Your Faith
- Start sharing your story and the hope you’ve found in Jesus with others.
- Invite friends, family, and neighbors to experience House City Church and the love of Christ.
